Katie Robinson

Katie began dancing at 2¾ years and has never stopped. At the age of 17 she began her professional training at the renowned Tiffany Theatre College gaining a diploma in Musical Theatre, alongside LAMDA certificates and ISTD teaching qualifications. After graduating Katie was fortunate to walk straight into professional work. Katie’s credits include supporting major recording artists, such as Kelis and Cliff Richard, TV commercials, touring cabaret and pantomime shows, contracts with Costa Cruise liners, as well as headlining a number of commercial events, including, The Bahrain Grand Prix, Porche Car launch and the Dubai shopping festival.

Katie continues to train and perform. She is currently developing her skills in aerial silks, trapeze and hoop work. Katie is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and would love to see some of the Creative Stage students follow in a similar professional path.

Marie McCullough

Marie started dancing at the age of five, competing in numerous dancing and singing competitions around the North West of England. She has over 400 medals and 150 trophies to her name.

At the age of ten, Marie was awarded a scholarship to study professionally at Elmhurst Ballet School in Surrey where she trained for the following nine years after which, she graduated with a Musical Theatre diploma and teaching qualifications in ISTD Modern & Tap, Spanish Dance, RAD Ballet, ABRSM Singing and Piano and LAMDA.

Her Professional Theatre credits include numerous UK Tours - Sarah in ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’, Debs in ‘Boogie Nights’, the title role in ‘Spirit of the Dance’, several London repertory theatre plays - Abby in ‘Pleasure Island’, Jane in ‘Postcards’, Annabel in ‘The Lucky Stiff’. Marie has also performed as a soloist dancer with ‘Dansez Espagnola’ at The Royal Albert Hall & The Barbican Theatre as well as appearing as a backing dancer for Puff Daddy at Wembley Arena.

Her TV credits include ‘Jamaican Runaway’ and ‘The Silver Chair’.

Marie has choreographed for and performed as principle girl in a multitude of Qdos Entertainment’s Pantomimes throughout the UK. Her professional choreographic credits extend to the UK tour of ‘Houdini, the Musical’, Las Vegas’s ‘Simply Ballroom’ and numerous UK Summer Seasons.

Marie takes great pride and immense pleasure in sharing her skills and experience through teaching. She believes that the arts are a wonderful arena for fostering creativity, an important skill to have in a rapidly changing world!

Sara Gatton

Sara trained at Elmhurst Ballet School, in Camberley, Surrey on their three year Musical Theatre course.

She has performed in several Musicals including, ‘Calamity Jane’, ‘The Rat Pack’ and numerous traditional British Pantomimes, corporate events and Summer Seasons, both in the UK, Europe and the West End of London. Other credits include cruises for Jean Ann Ryan Productions, as a dancer, singer, stager and dance captain.

After landing in Las Vegas in 2004, Sara performed in, ʻLegends In Concertʼ, ʻThe Fab Fourʼ, ʻFolies Bergereʼ as first cover Adage and many other corporate performances. Sara also taught, ‘Ballroom for Kids’ for Tony Delgado.

Whilst living in Las Vegas, Sara decided to make a transition to the management side of entertainment where she began working at ‘BEST’ Agency for the ‘Gondolier’ programme at ‘The Venetian’. Soon after, she was given the opportunity to manage the entertainment for ‘BEST’ Agency at ‘Lavo’,‘Caesars Palace’, and latterly, ‘The Artiste Del Arte’ programme at ‘The Venetian’.

After returning to the UK and having had two children, Sara began teaching extensively in Edinburgh for a number of schools including ESMS and George Watson. We are delighted that she is now here with us at Creative Stage in the Scottish Borders!

Sara is very excited to be passing on the knowledge of her craft at CS, as well as teaching the ISTD syllabus alongside a dear friend with whom she trained.

Mark Cameron, Hip Hop

Mark Cameron was born and raised in the North East of Scotland, where his passion for performing and dance began. Started his training at the Edinburgh’s Telford College, Mark then continued on to London Studio Centre to finish his dance training.

He has performed all over the world from Paris, Tokyo, Florida, Australia, Europe and the UK. He recently was seen on HMT stage as part of QDOS Pantomines as one of the dancers and cover Captain Hook and has been part of the Qdos family for over 4 years now. He was able to play the role of Prince Charming last year in Cinderella . He is currently working on projects for NTS, Make a wish, Trent Magazine and many other corporate and professional events.

He started his professional career working for Disneyland Paris in the world premier of Animagique. He also was a dancer/aerialist in Tarzan, Encore and The Lion King in Tokyo Disney and Florida. Mark has danced around the world with cruise lines such as Celebrity Cruises, Transocean Tours, Princess Cruises and P&O Australia as a dancer/dancer singer and dance captain. He worked with Cirque de Soleil in Las Vegas, Michael Curry in Paris, William Forsyth in Australia and was Dance Captain on the “Best of the Musicals” Germany Tour. Mark has choreographed for many Scottish and UK companies.

TV and film work include Braveheart, Vodafone, Corona, Bacardi, D2 Clothing, Asda, Barclays Bank and a few music videos. Mark teaches various styles of dance from musical theatre, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, ballroom and many more at various locations in and around Scotland and the U.K.
